From the establishment in 1874 Eisma Media Group always housed in Leeuwarden. They are specialized in business to business communication and educative publications. The new office has a cubical design. The main form is restrained from the main volume but is also the strength of the design. On this spot, the industrial part west of Leeuwarden, it rains different polymorphic shapes with many disorganized constructions added with a diversity of different sheet material.
The height of the building, the prominent top façade and the green-brown brick in a large size, gives the building an ageless appearance in the middle of the stall-architecture. The windows, in every façade equally distributed in an even pattern, become stepwise smaller with every storey to maintain equal light distribution on every story. The abstract appearance of the square volume is somewhat disturbed by this transformation. The top floor, for direction and with meeting rooms, has a magnificent view over the city. The roof has a large overhang that blocks direct sunlight.
